This is what happens when big sis is the hair stylist.

 

One day Shannon wouldn't even just fall backwards off the board without her coach helping her. The next day she was doing this:

Shannon had a chance to learn to ride a horse for a week. Her horse's name was Annie. Shannon said she was very sweet.

Adventureland is a lot of fun. Shannon went on some rides that we pretty scary for me to watch but she loved it. Colin got to go on his first amusement park rides. He thought any ride that he got to steer was the greatest. Shannon was an awesome big sister and went on all the rides with him.

We went to Omaha on our vacation this year. We tried some hiking but the mosquitos were terrible. We also saw some trains and went to a museum.

Colin doesn't really smile much for photos anymore. Here he is spending some time at the park while Shannon is at piano.

Really, really tired.
