Unfortuanately her hair looks like this ALL the time now. No amount of combing will make it lay flat anymore. On the other hand, it is awfully cute.

Shannon likes her new bath tub a little better, but she still isn't too sure about baths.

You have to be fast when you put a blanket down for the baby. Porthos is sure that we put blankets down for his comfort, not Shannon's!

It's hard to find baby girl's clothes with rockets or airplanes on them. Fortunately, Nana is really good at sewing!

We don't think Shannon really got into the spirit of Christmas this year. Next year we will have to hang all the ornaments on the tree above grabbing reach!

Shannon's Busy Day

Shannon had a busy day today. First it was morning exercises, then a nap with Dad. Then, an afternoon walk with Mom and Porthos.

Smiles

Shannon decided to smile at us today and they weren't just gas this time! We were playing on the floor with her. I smiled at her and she gave me a huge smile back. We smiled back and forth at least 10 times. It was so cute - the camera wasn't close by though.

Shannon's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off (with a little help from the pediatrician) and she got to take her first bath. She's not too sure about baths, though. I guess the tub toys will have to wait.
