More Christmas presents...

Christmas morning! There's no such thing as too many presents, is there?

And Christmas wouldn't be complete without decorating sugar cookies. Shannon punched out the shapes for all of them!

Last week we went to see the Disney Princesses on Ice show. Shannon was really excited at first but she had been sick all week and the show was VERY loud so we ended up leaving early. Overall though I think she enjoyed it.

Time to decorate the tree again. This year, we have a train set under the tree courtesy of my dad. It is old but working great and Shannon loves driving it.

Shannon's friends Berrick, Sam, Audra, and Silas all came over for a party. Shannon chose Star Wars for her theme, although this was possibly the only Star Wars party where the guest of honor wore her pink princess dress up dress and a crown.

Look who is 3!!

The dreaded dollhouse is finally finished, even in time for Shannon's birthday.

After Trick-or-Treating Shannon and Daddy had a light saber battle with some really big glow sticks. Obi Wan Kanobi (a.k.a. Shannon) had a bit of trouble when he accidently knocked his own head off. So the Dark Side won tonight.

Happy Halloween! Shannon and her friend Sammy went Trick-or-Treating together again this year. They found a lot of candy, and kept Gotham City and all the baby animals safe.

We raked leaves the other day and then jumped in the leaf piles. It was fun, but cold.

Candy Land is Shannon's new favorite past-time.

Lately she has really gotten good with her letters. She knows most of them by sight, and here she traced out the whole alphabet for me.

Shannon loves to help me cook. Here she is helping roll out biscuits.

The dollhouse is slowly progressing. It is much harder than I thought it would be, and I haven't even tried working with the wallpaper yet.

After having refused to wear dresses for almost her whole life, Shannon now wants to wear one every day. She used to cry if I even suggested wearing a dress. Of course, she also here is playing with the new toy she picked out, a Matchbox car set complete with car-eating crocodile. Go figure.

We visited the Air Force museum again. Look how much Shannon has grown since last time we were there!

Thanks Aunt Barb and Uncle Joe for letting us stay with you . We had a great visit.

Uncle Joe and Tom played pool one afternoon. They had to play with the newly created "Shannon interference rules".

Great-Grandma cutting the cake for her 92nd birthday. Happy birthday!

Shannon and Berrick trying on pajamas. Their way.

Last weekend Tom's guard unit had their annual family picnic. We all had a really good time. Then we went and watched Ponyo.

A couple more pictures from Adventureland.
